The late ‘90s Christian rock underdogs are officially back on the road for the Bleach 30 anniversary tour, kicking off in June, and after sitting down with Davy, Sam, and Milam for a full-length CCM Magazine interview, one thing became crystal clear: this doesn’t feel like cosplay. It’s certainly not a cash grab. This band is alive.

That’s probably why people are showing up from all over the country, dragging their kids… and apparently even grandkids… to these shows.

The conversation bounces between van-tour memories, the weirdness of being accidental “Christian music role models” at 20 years old, and the realization that Bleach’s biggest legacy may not actually be the records themselves, but the community that formed around them.

“We always wanted to be a great rock band, but it always kind of came second to the people.”

The upcoming tour is packed with friends and fellow scene legends including John Reuben, Fold Zandura, Mortal, Watashi Wa, and more, depending on the city.

CCM Premiere: “Baseline” (2026 Version)

Now for the really fun part.

CCM Magazine is premiering Bleach’s brand new 2026 reimagined version of “Baseline,” recorded live as part of the upcoming release The Fox Den Sessions: Volume One.

The band tracked these songs together, live, in the room — the way bands used to actually make records.

“It’s not going to be absolutely perfect… but let’s make it real. Let’s make it human.”

Baseline was the obvious choice to kick this era off. Bring back the good times has basically become the entire spirit of this reunion.

And honestly, that’s exactly what this feels like. Just a band of lifelong friends realizing the songs still matter, the audience never really disappeared, and maybe there’s still something beautiful about getting back in a van and singing these songs together one more time.

Actually, scratch that.

Probably more than one more time.

Because by the end of our conversation, Bleach made it pretty clear this isn’t intended to be the end. New music is already in motion and the band says the goal now is simple:

“Our goal is not to quit.”  – Davy Baysinger
